Due to the fact an AppleCare Warranty can only be transferred once and to maintain the privacy of our sellers, AppleCare Warranties are not transferable to the purchaser's name. The AppleCare warranty is however valid for hardware repair. The warranty is linked to the serial number of the machine. In the rare event of a hardware failure, you can have the machine serviced by your nearest Apple Authorized Service Provider. AppleCare phone support is not available on items we represent having remaining AppleCare Warranty.

No OS disks or flash installers are included with any machines we ship. Computers 2011 and newer have Internet Recovery built-in, allowing access to re-install the OS.

Computers ship with an operating system (OS) pre-loaded on the hard drive. The version of OS is denoted in each item's listing. We encourage all customers to upgrade to the latest compatible operating system through the Mac App Store (FREE upgrade).

Batteries are guaranteed to work at least one (1) hour under normal operating conditions as part of our 90-day standard warranty. However, batteries are consumable and are not covered under the 15-month extended warranty.

To maintain the lowest pricing in the industry, we do not operate as a traditional retailer. Our facility consists of offices and a warehouse void of any showroom. The machines we purchase normally come from a working environment. The vast majority of them are already 100% operational. Here is a brief synopsis of the refurbishing process:

• All hardware components are tested. If any component fails hardware testing, it is replaced.
• Each machine is inspected for cosmetic damage.
• Each machine is physically cleaned inside and out to the best of our ability.

Once an item sells, we test and inspect it a second time for quality-control purposes. All items ship with a 90-day warranty unless otherwise noted.
